Introduction to Decimals

Task Description: For this task we had to watch a video and write down what we learnt from it about decimals. Then we had to write down the decimals as a number and convert decimal numbers to words. Then we watched another video about converting decimals to fractions. We also had to write down notes. On the the next few slides we had to convert decimals into fractions. This was really really easy because I did this last year, but i just had to think back.

What is the Biosphere?

Today we learnt about the Biosphere. Just in case you didn't know the Biosphere is basically another meaning for living things. There are different living things like animals, plant, humans and etc. The video in the front page will explain more. On slide 2 we had to write down a few things about what we already know, what we want to know and what we learnt about the Biosphere. Then we had to find out what Biomes are. Biomes is like a fancy science way of saying places where different living things can be. Then the last slide we had to write down one biome and what it's special physical features are as well as the animals and plant life that are found there. I did the Amazon Rainforest. This task was fun because I got to learn a whole lot of new things that I never knew at first.

Venn Diagram

For this task we had to watch a video about sand art and then read a book called the begging. Then we had to write the differences and similarity's. In the middle we had to write down what they both had that were sort of the same to each other. I enjoyed doing this task and learning about Papatuanuku and Ranginui.
