We had to write a formal letter to our Literacy teacher Mrs Tapuke.

About Me

Anyoung Haseyo and greetings to you all!

My formal name is Tunui, but people call me Mamarei instead. I’m 12 turning 13 this year. I’m part Tongan and Samoan, but my full cultures are Cook Island Maori, Tahitian and Hawaiian.

I am the youngest of 5 including my sister in-law. I attend Point England School as a year 8. I have 6 amazing and beautiful female teachers named Mrs Moala, Mrs Tapuke, Mrs Tele’a, Whaea Kelly, Mrs Stone and Mrs Ilaoa. I have 3 best friends named Jarreka, Hope and Jazzelle.My favorite subject is Reading, because I get to learn new things about different things in life. My goals for this year is to learn how to get better at maths and make my teachers and families happy with my education.

My favourite foods to eat are Island food, like Raw fish, Rukau, and Poke. The thing I do in my spare time is stay on my Chromebook and look after my two kittens. Their both females and sisters, their names are Poko and Loko. I also have 1 favorite K-pop group and the name is BTS! My favorite people in Bts are Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung.
