Niuean Language Week - Niue's History

Fakalofa lahi Atu and Happy Niuean Language Week. For this task we had to choose something new to learn about Niue.I chose to learn about Niue's history.After we learnt about Niue's history we had to make a poster showing 10 things we learnt.

A Maori Myth Of Creation

For this task we watched a video of sand art telling the story of how the Earth was created in Maori. Then we had to read two texts about the creation of the world and Papatuanuku. We also had to break a bunch of words into word groups. This par of the task was easy, because we had done this last term.

Introduction to Decimals

For this task we had to watch a video and write down what a decimal was and all the other things you could use a decimal for. Then we had to answer some questions with digits and write them into decimals. After that we learnt different ways how to write a decimal. The create task we had to make a dart and write down the rules .

Understanding Decimals

 For this task we had to understand how to use a decimat. On the first slide we had a video that showed us how to use the decimat then we had to do the rest of the decimat slides.I enjoyed doing this task and understanding decimals better. 

Multiplication Week 2 Term 3

This week I finished off my week two work. I know it's a long time past week 2, but I did finish it. I hope this helps you with your maths like perimeter and Area.

Create Task - Proverb - Against the wind

This week we had to find the meaning behind a Maori Proverb. My group had to find a proverb and translate it from Maori to English. The meaning for proverb is something and has a meaning behind the saying.
