Day 1 Of Week 2 Lock-Down

Hey Everyone!! So the weekends just finished and I'm back with more information about my lock-down!! It's still busy and fun, but lately I've been staying up during most of the nights because during the day I help my family and during the night I try my best to fully of sort of finish off my school work. On Friday I went with my cousins to one of the sister's dad's house. We went there just to celebrate the father's birthday with a barbeque. It was nice getting to meet the in law's of my cousins, not to mention they were very friendly and respectful. So we had a huge feed with the dad, his kids, just 2 of his siblings and his niece and nephew.

After we ate us kids went to the garage and sat on the motorbikes and starting vibing to a bunch of songs. We even had Ice-Cream and were being idiots in the garage. It was so much fun, and then my cousin and her sister's boyfriends niece went upstairs and ate some cookies with milk, but I was too tired to join them.

Anyways, this cute picture of my nephew was when he was born and he just woke up from his sleep. Honestly he freaked up out when my mum said that he came out SLEEPING!! He was knocked out, but then he woke up when he was being cleaned. He also have his mum a rip in the belly, because his head was massive!!Anyways, he's 6 months about to go to 7. I can't wait for him to get older!!

Also my Lock-down is still going well, and I'm still staying up most nights trying to finish off school work. And in the day i'm still trying my best to carry on doing school work while doing house work. I'm trying to keep a very good balance between  my housework and school work, and so far it's going very good-ish.

Taha Tinana is still being worked on  as we are still very busy and it's still a very bad weather. The rest of the taha's are going well and I can't wait to go back to  school!!

Day 4 of Lock Down

This was our dinner last night. It's beef stew with a couple veggies like carrot and potato. We had this with rice. It's was really hot, but tasted really good. It was a bit rich, but the rice help keep the flavour balanced. This was made by Me, and my mum. I always help my mum with anything, including cooking, washing dishes, and doing to clothing. Usually it's always me she calls.

For this morning I made us a very tasty smoothy. It's made with frozen mango bits, custard flavoured yogurt, four banana's and milk. This meant to be for me only in a small cup, but then I remembered about my family, so I made a larger one. It tastes really nice and it's very smmoth.

As always, my lock down is still going splended. I'm having fun at home while doing doing school work. Most times I have to do house work and help my mum so I try my best to finish as much work as I can. It's also really hard for me to focus on school work, because my mum always needs me, and I'm always looking after my nephew. I try my best to say that I need to do my work, but I want my family to be happy as well, so I just do it.

Day 3 of Lockdown

So how is everyone? Like I said on my last post, my lockdown is still going well. I've tried finishing off all my work, and being able to get up early to go on my google meets. This top photo was this morning when my mum woke me up and asked me to help her make different scones. We made some pineapple flavoured scones, chocolate chip flavoured scones, and the original scones. It was really hard to stay awake because she woke my up at 5 in the morning. The reason why we made these scones because my mum hasn't made this in a long time. The recipe is really easy, but it's from my uncle in Rarotonga. He's the one who taught my mum how to make it.

In this photo you can clearly see that I've cropped this photo of me holding my little baby nephew. This was before we had lock down when I was still able to go to school. He's very curious and loves going outside, so for now he's a bit angry because he can't go outside. The only day we went outside was last Sunday. It was really sunny and warm, and me and my sister in law put up a tent for all of us. A few hours later, when my nephew fell asleep my sister in law took him inside the house. I wanted to sleep inside the tent, because I was the perfect size for it, but my mum said no.

Also to keep you updated with my Te Whare Tapa Wha, I am still doing Taha Whanau. Still looking after my nephew, keeping a close connection with my extended family and friends. So far for Taha Tinana i'm doing a bunch of dancing games with my sister. It's hard, but then again I love it. Taha Wairua is going well. I'm still happy as ever and still trying to not be negative, because of family reasons.

So that's it.... I'll be posting more about my lock down soon.
