Art Expo - 2020

Today we got to travel around every single class in our school!! Why?  Because our theme for this term is Art Alive (Toi Ora). So each team in our school had every single student, even our little children do a bunch of art work based on basically what the teacher wanted it to be.

We travelled from our block (Team 5) to the team 4 block. I honestly enjoyed seeing their art works. They had different Polynesian designs with different descriptions on the meanings behind them.  I loved nearly every single Cook Island  design because they all had so many different meanings that I never knew about. The Tongan, Samoan, Niuean and basically every other Polynesian art works looked so beautiful.

We kept travelling around the whole school. The little kids work was even better in my opinion. Room 23's art work was by far my favourite from team 3. Their art work was based on Tie-dye t-shirts. They hanged up really good looking tie-dye shirts. I loved how colourful and unique they were.  They had such vibrant colours and had different designs on them.

Overall my most favourite art work was from Room 24 in team 2 or 3. Each child in Rm 24 chose some colourful Rangoli designs and got to make their own Indian elephant art work. It was pretty impressive seeing how well  they drew a elephant without tracing, and to be honest I think it's a whole lot better then my  drawing of a elephant.

Then we came back to our block. I loved every single art  work and I hope it goes on every child's blog to show their hard work!!
