Algebra

For this task we are focusing on Algebra.  We had to identify the rule for the patterns on our maths. Then we had to make the line graph to show more of our work. Then lastly answer a few questions. 

Line Graph - Maths

For this task we learned how to tell and use a line graph. Then had to complete a bunch of questions regarding our maths topic, line graphs. After that we had to make a line graph with our own data that we had  to collect from our maths class. My topic was about tropical fruit!! My favourite bit about this task was getting to make my own data based line graph.  

Taha Tinana - Sign Language

For this task we had to pick three different sports on slide one. Then we had to try and do it in sign language. The three sports I did was Netball, Soccer and Table Tennis. I picked these ones because I enjoy them. 

Metric Conversions

For this we had to learn about metric conversions. We learnt how to convert different masses, lengths and capacity into different things. Length means how tall or long something is. It's basically  like measuring how tall you door is, or how tall someone is!! Then we watched a video about how to convert measurements from one scale measure to another. On slide 4 was just a slide to help us with the conversions. We also had a slide with examples of how to convert from largest to smallest. I found all the other slides quite easy, but sort of got a bit confused with the word problems. I have a few eye-sight problems so I asked my sister if she could read it to me, then I understood the questions.  As for the create task, I'll try and do it on Friday because i'm still very busy, so please don't mind if I post it a bit later. Well, I hope everyone is having a nice time during lock-down and I can't wait to go back to school!!

Reading Scales

For this week we are learning how to read different kind of scales. Measure how much something weighs and it will give you kilograms, grams, pounds. This week our Walt is to read scales on various measuring devices and to learn how to read scales. There are different scales and you can use it to measure different kind of this so in my task today I am learning how to measure a ruler and a Measuring Jug and the last thing is how to read a thermometer. 

Telling time

For this task we had to write down the time that was shown on the clock. Then we had to write it in the written form. Am means the morning and Pm means in the afternoon or evening, either one. Then we had to solve a bunch of time word problems. As for the create task we had to make two different slides and add in 5 different word problems. All I did was keep the same words, but changed up the numbers. That however is for you guys to try and do.  The rest of the slides are just my answers of the questions. I used a paper from home because right now I don't have my maths book with me here.

Decimals

For this task we had to answer a few word problems, decimals problems and time problems. The task that I found the hardest to do was the subtracting decimals.Overall I enjoyed doing this maths task. 

Introduction to Decimals

For this task we had to watch a video and write down what a decimal was and all the other things you could use a decimal for. Then we had to answer some questions with digits and write them into decimals. After that we learnt different ways how to write a decimal. The create task we had to make a dart and write down the rules .
