Today is CHRISTMAS!! I'd like to say merry Christmas to everyone, and wish all you guy's the best for 2020. Please don't forget that this is the day Jesus Christ was born, so this is basically a blessing for us to celebrate his birthday all together. The reason why I've got Bts ( Bangtan Boys ) on this Merry Christmas picture is because one like I said, it's Christmas, and two is because Bts might or will disband because Jin ( Kim Seokjin ) is leaving the group to join the military! If you are in a Bts Army, please send some love off to Jin and the rest of the people!!!
I am a Year 8 learner in Room 2 at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teacher is Ms. Tapuke.

New Kittens
Today, my mum took me and my sister to one of our family member's house to collect 2 beautiful Kittens. They are both females, and their sisters. Their old name was Missy and Simba, but my mum changed their names into Poko and Loko. Poko is the Kitten that's on my head, and Loko is the Kitten sleeping on my shoulder. When I first held them, they scratched me on my leg and my hand. So I decided to give them some time and they really warmed up to me. Poko belongs to my sister Roimata. She is exactly like her. They both sleep alot, they like to cause trouble, but never really get's introuble, and they both don't like me. Loko is my kitten. She is boring like me, get's introuble alot like me, and she's playful like me. These two are the first kittens to not hate me. Before everytime I tried entering my own house I couldn't because my old cats and kittens would always scratch me or hiss. By far the only cats that didn't do anything to me was my old cat Blackie, Simba, and Sazoo.
Here's a few videos of my 2 kittens playing!

Last day of School!
I felt tears flowing down my neck as I hugged one of my friends. Yesterday was the last day of school, meaning no more waking up early, sitting on the ground to much and doing work. I thought that I’d be happy to be going, but instead I felt like I was going to cry.
So in the morning we as team 5 students had our usual assembly, while the rest of the school was getting ready for our school assembly. Next to the doors in the breeze were a whole bunch of stuff that were not claimed by students, so Lost and Found. We were saying our farewells to four amazing teachers. Some were going to teach at other schools and some were getting ready to learn how to be a real teacher.
After the school assembly, team 5 went off the do our final clean up in our classes. We cleared out everything in our classes including the chairs, tables and bookshelves. Then it was morning tea, were we just eat and have out final play time with our friends. Once the bell went, me and my friends rushed back to class.
We had our final team 5 assembly and went to the hall. We listened to a few things our teachers and principal had to say. Our principal told us his story about his friend and to be careful when we’re near the Road, Rivers, and Rails. Then watched the year 8s do their prizegiving dance. Then they did their haka, and a few people joined and we all said thank you to our teachers. Honestly, I was quite happy to be going, but then I saw a few of my friends crying because they were going to miss me. One of the girls hugged me and said she was going to miss me.
Then a few minutes later my cousin started crying, and I felt so bad. As I walked around saying goodbye to people, one of the boys who don’t normally want a hug from me wanted a hug from me. So because I’m short I had to jump, but he bent down for me and I hugged him. While I was hugging him, I could feel his tears coming down my neck, and when I let go, I felt as if his face was a tomato, because it was so red. I saw his younger siblings so I hugged them, and a whole bunch of little kids ran to hug me. Me and my cousin went out of the hall for her to breath, and one of our nephews hugged us.
Shortly after all that stuff, she bought me a drink and we sat down smiling. Anyway, the reason why I never cried was because when something sad happens and I know I’m about to cry I think of happy thoughts. We all went our separate ways and I gotta go home happy.
Happy Merry Christmas and I wish you all the best for 2020!

The Shepherd's Boy. An Aesop's Fable.
This week we had to preform a skit for our Aesop's Fable. A Fable is a small Story with a meaning behind it. My fable is about The Shepherd's boy. It's all about a boy who kept on tricking his people in a village on thinking a wolf was coming to eat their sheep. Then One day a real wolf came and all of them. Any way, the meaning behind this is "A lier will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth.

Pepeha learning
This is my Pepeha created from this website. You can learn how to say your pepeha and how to create one. My personal thought about this is it's a really nice chance for people to learn where other people come from and how to greet themselves in the front of a huge Maori crowd. I hope you can use this website to learn your own personal pepeha. Please take the time to read my pepeha and get to know me even though I haven't said my mihi and pepeha personally.

Rainbows End Trip
Yesterday the Year 7s of Pt England School had a fun time at Rainbows End. We got to take a bus ride, but the first group of people got there early and had to wait for the rest of us because the took too long and we were getting angry, angry enough to say "We want out money back". Once we got there we got our bags checked for some sharp objects and glass bottles. Then some of the workers gave us some bands so that they know we came with a group. It was funny with my group because we went on the roller coaster first, then this other ride I can't really remember the name. Then we went on the family carts. It was really funny because me and my friend Hope was driving in the same car together and at the end of the rise we were supposed to stop but instead she pressed on the green button and crashed into our team helper. They blamed me because they said I was behind the wheel when really it was mainly my friend. Then near the end the boys and our helper in our group went to the Scorpio carts, while me and my other two friends Hope and Jarreka went on the extreme Stratosphere. It was so crazy because we went upside down for 5 seconds and screamed. Overall it was the best time ever. The funny thing is that i'm going back to Rainbows End this Saturday for my nieces Birthday Celebration.
