Hi Mamarei, I have just been admiring your poster from the genomics Hui day. I hope you had a lot of fun on the day. You chose some really interesting pictures to include on the poster. The big data one is really important because there is so much DNA information about people now available, scientists and doctors need to figure out the best way to use that information (big data) so that they can help improve health. I notice that in your blog you talk about nursing your family members. Some of the things you are now learning in genomics are also what students are learning at the School of Nursing at the University of Auckland. Perhaps one day you might like to be a doctor or nurse as a career? It is certainly important and rewarding work.
