Learning create and share

This term is term 4 and it is the second to last week of the year. We have been learning all about musical madness this term. I will be talking to you all about my blog post called,Flight of the bumblebee. This relates to musical madness because we had to imagine what the piece  of music was telling us.

Hour of code time

Today in the morning we had two beautiful and amazing people come to our class to teach us about coding. There is a website called, Hour of code that kids like my age can play. We had lots and lots of fun asking them funny questions like if one of the girls named makala. One of my best friends Aaliah asked her if her mum can do the dab and she said yes.

Flight of the bumblebee

Today when we went to class after the second bell our teacher Mrs West told us that we will be listening to a piece of music. The music was called " Flight of the bumblebee " and it was amazing. The composer is Rimsky Korsakov who was Russian,born in 1844 and died in 1908 he was also 64 when he died. I didn't really finish my picture, but at lest I tried my best. I think that the piece of music was all about someone running away to go on a adventure or getting stung by a bee.

                                                       

Acting in a scene

On Tuesday in the morning, room 10 literacy was watching Mr Bean act live and it was called “ Invisible drums ‘’ then after we watched the video room 10 literacy went to the Pt England School field. Miss West was explaining what we were going to do. I was very enthusiastic, but at the same time I felt bored because there was so much talking but we needed to know the instructions because without the instructions we won't know what to do.

She said that one person will be in a scene doing something and when she says freeze then the person who is in the scene freezes and then another random person comes in and changes the scene, So that’s what we did. But the one that I loved was when my cousin Amira was in a position like she was running away from the bank because she just finished robbing it,then Miss West chose my friend Jedida to change the scene so she did. Jedida went up to Amira and started doing a funny exercise.


Then Mrs West said to have one group of three or four to do a scene. I wanted to do a dead photo frame with my Best friend Esther and my friend Jedida, but we never got chosen. Then we had to go back to class because it was just about to rain. I hope that we can do it again.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Writing a story

Lucy was in her hidden lab trying to do an experiment but then it all went wrong because she was to excited to even look at how many carbon fiber she should put in because you can only put five drops of science carbon fiber, but Instead….. she put in twenty drops  inside. It exploded right in the front of her face and made her cry until she looked at her experiment, it was a evil Astronaut?? She said. The Astronaut flew away and left her a message saying that one day i will rise against the whole of humanity and destroy it along with the earth.

She was agitated so she went to the president named Wendy and told her that something wrong happend at her hidden lab. So the president said to her to look for your creation and tell it to be one with nature, but then Lucy said that she can’t because her creation has gone into space and also because her creation is threatening mother nature her and her country. Wendy said that since it’s Lucy’s fault for making that experiment and also for not being serious about her experiment and if she was serious about it then it will would have been an amazing but instead it is evil, so now Lucy has to go into a rocket ship and fly away into space to find a new home and to search for her creation. She went around the world and found her creation and destroyed it. She came back to earth to tell Wendy that earth is not going to be destroyed.

Raindrop in the sky, but then disappears!

I am a raindrop in the sky, with my family way up high. In the grey clouds I walk around while one by one of the family disappears. I am alone in school with my friends in the clouds. I go back home but then a humongous hole opens up. I try to run away but the hole gets even bigger and drives me away from my friends and family.I go under my grey clouds, into these things called called waves. I get scared and try to scream, but looks like no one can hear me. I get picked up and taken to another place where we get used.I get handed into another thing called bottles, then i get delivered to other people and get swallowed, but still happy that i still get to see my family.

Addition

We have been learning how to add on it room nine maths.To do this you have to know how to add on like for example: my math teacher Mrs Buchanan had twenty seven laptops and my home teacher Mrs West has eight laptops so if you can split the eight into two fours, so if you do twenty seven plus four that will equal thirty one and if you do thirty one plus four then that will equal thirty five.   

Smart Shoe

I think that this product looks like a spy and used to keep your toes compatible and also to keep your legs warm because of the sigh in the in the front,it looks like a mysterious spy person or a mysterious secret spy company made it for other spy’s around the world and also because it think in the inside it has a thing to warm up your legs and toes.I think that the materials made out of metal,carbon fiber,black & white materials.  



I think the shoe is solving a problem about older people's hands because elder people’s hand might be tired of using their hand to push themselves on a wheelchair because elder people’s hands are getting really tired and us kids don’t want that to happen to our elders.  


This product is a Smart Shoe that comes in any size for any person. The Smart Shoe  is a smart technology footwear in which shoe insoles are connected to a smartphone application that uses Google maps,and vibrate to tell users when and where to turn to reach their destination. It was introduced in Hyderabad, India in July 2014.

Now that i know what this shoe can do i think that it’s a very splendid idea because it will be easy for little and old people to  warm up their toes and legs without it getting cold in winter. I also know that i will definitely be buying these smart shoes when i grow up. The only reason why i want to buy these smart shoes when i grow up it’s because it is a good thing to use for people. If you were to make some suggestions for the next edition of this product, what would it be? What would you like to see this product being able to do?

Coin Chatching Challenge

Woah!!! Today we just finished playing a game challenge that was so supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and bewildering. While  Miss West  was showing us an example I was feeling a bit hysterical about the challenge. It looked so easy to the other students in my class, but  to me I felt a bit unsure about it. Usually I’d be so very euphoric about challenge’s, but on this challenge I felt a bit apprehensive because we have to try to  keep a counter on your elbow while trying to use gravity. Gravity means the force that attracts a body towards the centre of the earth, or towards any other physical body having mass.

Miss West asked us if we could form a circle shape outside so we did. When we finished making the circle we got a counter each and the first colour that i got was black which is my favorite colour because sometimes it reminds me of myself whenever i am mad and it calms me down. Whenever we finish catching our first counter then we have to raise our hands so that Miss West knows that we have caught our first on but most of the time kids would lie to Miss West that they caught their first one but they didn’t. When i was trying to catch my black counter it took me hours to catch it but then i managed to catch it so then i raised my hand and i got the colour red which was my second fav colour.

When i tried to throw the two counters up i dropped one of it so i tried again and it looks like i used gravity which means The force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass. For most purposes Newton's laws of gravity apply, with minor modifications to take the general theory of relativity into account. I used gravity because when i saw one of my classmates do it i said in my head * Huh? that looks like a pretty good* so that’s when i started using gravity.

When i got my 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th,10th counter i finally got to my 11th counter so then i went to one of my classmates and asked him  how many counters he had and he said* I've got 20* so i said*wow you've got more than me because i only got 11 until Miss West said to all of us if we could come to the court so that we can count our counters and put them back so we did except kids were  dropping their counters which was good news for all of us because we got to steal the counters and pretend that we got more.

Designing our very own land boat waka

We are designing a land boat because when we grow up we will know how to build one and drive one. We are also designing a land boat because we are learning how to think better. We are also making it for a competitive challenge by using technology in it.

The design of my land boat will be hard wood to sharpen because i am wanting to make my land boat look like a waka so the sharp parts are going to be used to make my waka look a lot like a waka, Hard wood because almost anything or anyone that we put in the land boat will be easy to hold, old rags because when the wind blows then our land boat will be able to move,little thin wood for the wheels because the wheels do most of the spadework because for example a car, there’s the wheels right, when a person drives a car they need wheels so that when the person drives the car then wherever that person goes the wheels will make them move and last but not least we will try to use science to make carbon fiber so that it is not too heavy because if it is too heavy then it will break and if it breaks my team will have to fix or build it again.

When we finish our planning and building then we will get a chance to play with it and  have our competition.

How to do coding

Today me and my whole math class where learning how to do coding by using a link called Hour of code. On this website i was on level 12 with 140 points. as you know this is Monster high because it is my favourite movie.  This was the most coolest day ever.

On Saturday

On Saturday me, my mum, dad and older sister went to the Otahuhu pools. Before me and my family went to the pools we had to get everything and everyone ready to go. Me and my sister had to put on our swimming togs on, then have breakfast witch was rice bubbles and milk. After that our mum and dad got ready to go.


My mum went shower while my dad was eating breakfast. When my mum and dad finished having there breakfast and shower, then me and my sister got our food ready and put it in our bags. When me and my sister had finished putting our food in our bags we went in my dads car while me and my sisters bags stay at the back.In the car my dad was playing his music from his phone witch was so cool and fun.

When ever the song finished me and my sister would pick another song and then we'd sing to it as my dad drives. Then finally we arrived at the Otahuhu pools. Me and my family got out of the car grabbed our bags and went in. Everyone was having so much fun that I took off my bag ran into the bathroom and got change.

After changing me and my sister went into the pools and started swimming. Me and my sister saw the lifeguards opening the slide so I went inside and it was cool because it was so slippery that when I sat  down I straight away went flying down and I thought that my sister was going to catch me like she said but instead she put her hands out and when i came down my sister didn't catch me. After a few hours later me and my sister ate, then when we finished eating and went back into the pool.


Then a few more hours later our mum said that we had to go out because you had to do shopping so we did. We went shower got changed and went. After we finished our shopping we came back home and relaxed.

Before Saturday morning

Before Saturday morning in the evening, I was on my mums iPad playing really cool games which was fun but, boring at the same time. At my house there was me, my older brother along with my older cousin just watching funny videos.

There was also my older sister sleeping like usual in our bedroom, she sleeps just like my mum. My mum was sleeping as well, even if she does not sleep that much, she had to go to sleep. My dad was also sleeping because, he had a really hard day today and, his phone was still on when, it should be off by now. Now it looks like it's just me, my older brother and cousin.

Right now all I'm doing is just playing games and watching movies. But my family is going to be lucky this morning because, we will be going to the pools, but I think that we're going to the otahuhu pools with our Easter eggs because, my parents wants to make us happy and let us have a big  celebration at the pools. I already know that me and my family is never going to forget this day ever.
