We got called to the street today and heard what the year 7 leaders had to say. The leaders were Sauma, Bradly, Nina, Mohamed, Simon and Oli'i. Sauma said she enjoyed watching her team step up which was really good to hear. Bradly said he really enjoyed being prefect while we were gone, but it's a good thing because I know he and every other year 7 are capable of leading the school. Nina said her highlight was eating the delicious food. Mohamed said his highlight was to try new things and get his team to be great. Simon and Oli'i said they both loved their team stepping out of their confort zone.
Then it was the year 8 leaders. The leaders were Jezakaia, Me (Mamarei), Sione k, Chance, Caleb, Leilani, Zamera and Arthur. Chance and Leilani weren't here so it was just the boys and me and Zamera. Jezakaia said he thinks camp was great and it'll be very useful in the future. I said my highlight was watching my team encourage each other. Especially with one of my Samoan friends Lepisi. Sione K said his highlight was sleeping with his friends. Caleb said his highlight was helping his team and watching them encourage each other. Zamera said her highlight was everyone was capable with anything which shows teamwork. Arthur said everyone was respectful. I think the teams tried to do their best and did great.

I can't wait for all the year 7's to go to camp. Also special thanks to Phill and Shelly for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
